Gungnir Maria Taking the Show

Just realized that the Scheduled release on this was badly set up...



Those not privy to Symphogear G yet, well, spoiler alert! Today's Card of the Day features Maria in her somewhat okay glory -as you'll see below-

4000 Power || 1 Soul || «Music» «Weapon»

[CONT] For every other «Music» character on your Stage, this card gains +500 Power.

[AUTO] [①] When this card declares an attack with the Climax HORIZON†SPEAR on your Climax Border, you may pay the stated cost. If you do, return 1 Character from your Waiting Room to your Hand.

So we're looking at our first RR in Red and Maria is taking up that slot -now we hopefully assume that Chris is taking the second spot-! So with a full field we're looking at a Level 1 with a base power of 6000. It doesn't really strike me as anything special and I find that it's actually a waste of space for a RR. Unless there's some Gungnir Maria trick that's going to be going around, I don't see this a RR value.

Yes despite the Climax Combo ability of getting back a Character from Waiting Room. Why? Cause I expected it to be a +2000 Power and +1 Soul and Draw a Card effect and not a +2 Soul Climax as shown below:

The fact of the matter is, I can't get my mind on an explanation as to why the previous shown card is taking up a RR slot. If it had a Hand Encore -probably- but in this case scenario it doesn't. Then again, it's still pretty much early on what the rest of the cards might be, but I just hope that Bushiroad has some special stuff cooking up for Maria. Oh and it doesn't even have a trigger to justify it's RR slot!!!

Introducing the X-Drive Mode! Maria on the spotlight now... So a base 7000 Power for 1 Cost. Oy vey, she's pretty much disappointing me at the moment. It does have the Hand Encore, but I completely find a lack of Power here. Why couldn't this have the +500 Power for each other «Music» on your field that is -in my honest opinion- wasted on the RR card?

Ugh, talk about disappointing Card of the Day for Symphogear G. Chris! You better make it up!!!
