It's already April 1st in some places so jokes and Easter eggs are already popping up at an alarming rate on the net!
That's right folks, you can catch Pokemon on the go! Before I go into more details, check out the video below
One of the many early stuff that popped out was the Pokemon Challenge by Google. Presumably they have Nintendo's full blessing in this. If they didn't I don't think this would have seen the light of day.
Video aside since it's totally not like that how you play, you open up your Google Maps app in your smartphone or tablet to start playing. Once opened, all you have to do is press the Search Option and Press Start with the blue Pokeball icon.
Once you've started, you'll be whisked off towards the Pokemon Lab located at the CERN research facility in Switzerland. Once there you have free reign of swiping around the map and see colorful sprites of individual Pokemon. You can proceed to catch them for safekeeping and enter their data into your Pokedex.
The design would have been much cooler if it's was more location based but I guess that would have taken more time for coding and what now. Oh well, if you have nothing to do on this Lazy Monday then I guess you can just swipe across the entire map and catch everything!
